Denver police department to evaluate tattoo policy

Denver police evaluating tattoo policyAfter the news of new army regulations, the issue of regulating tattoos has been debated in many organizations. In Colorado, the Denver police department began surveying its officers to decide how to move forward, according to The Denver Post.

According to The Post:

A survey was sent to officers this week seeking input about a department policy for tattoos, said spokesman Sonny Jackson. The survey is for “fact-finding” purposes, and it is too soon to tell whether officers may be required to cover up their tattoos.

Currently, the department does not have a policy regarding tattoos.
