No matter how big a fan you are of your favorite superhero or television show, you probably don’t go to work donning their look. However, this last week Tumblr featured the best of secret tributes to favorite superhero’s, according to WIRED magazine.

“In practical terms, stealth cosplay can go in two main directions: outfits inspired by the general look of a character’s costume; or duplicating canonical — but not recognizably costumey — street wear,” WIRED writer Rachel Edidin said in her article. “Either way, the defining principle is the same: Only you know that you’re dressed up.”
