New York’s ear to the ground of tattoos

Finding a balance between statement pieces and subtle tattoos present challenges to many women looking to get ink done. However, pop-culture lends a hand by presenting many different popular placements to chose from, ear tattoos recently became the newest fad among them, according to an article by The New York Times. 

“Anytime there’s a condensed spot, where one little tattoo makes the whole spot look filled up, that’s where the trends come from,” said Brad Stevens, a tattoo artist at New York Adorned in Manhattan, to The New York Times.

Many tattoo artists try to dissuade impulse tattoos in the spot because of its prominent appearance, however.
