New York based, Australian artist Ian Strange has created a new take on what is commonly thought of as street art.

Strange set out with a camera crew to paint and even burn houses throughout America in order to make a statement about how “radical aesthetic adjustments can bring the vigor of city street art to the comfortable setting of middle America,” according to the Huffington Post.

He created the “Suburban” project for an exhibit to be held at the National Gallery of Victoria.
