Tattoo artist pushes for statewide suspension regulations

Tattoo artist pushes for suspension regulationsWhile he appreciates and agrees with most tattoo and piercing regulation, Lancaster City tattoo artist Shane Szebin was amazed at the lack of regulation in Pennsylvania surrounding suspension, according to an article from FOX43.

Suspension is the act of piercing one’s skin with metal hooks and then suspending oneself by the skin and piercing made by the hooks.

“The piercing  hurts, but the actual suspension is more just a tugging, it doesn’t actually hurt at all” said Szebin in an interview with FOX.

He was amazed that the state had not regulated something that involved piercing the skin when it had such strict regulations about piercings in tattoo and body art shops, the article read.
