Divorce tattoos becoming more popular among women

The overlap between the 45 million people with tattoos in America and those that feel that their ink makes them sexy has created an interesting new tattoo category according to Communities Digital News: The divorce tattoo.

“Divorce coach Cindy Holbrooke of Ridgecrest, California says celebrating your divorce with a tattoo or in any other way is a show of love and compassion for yourself,” the article reads.

For many women the tattoos represent a repressed desire for freedom in previous relationships or a desire for change, according to the article.
