A ministry of tattoos and piercings

crossIt is normal to expect and see some degree of religious tattoos and, therefore, religious discussions at some point in owning a tattoo shop. However, for Houston based artist Scott Hill, religious messages have a constant and integral role in his tattooing business, according to The Lake Houston Observer.

In an interview with the Observer:

It puts me in a totally different place than other preachers. We’re supposed to be out talking to people and reaching people and sharing the Gospel with people. No crack-head wakes up in the morning and says, ‘Hey I want to go to church today.’ It’s not realistic. Having my ministry here (at Anointed Ink), people come in that don’t go to church or don’t believe in church.
