With the increased popularity of tattoos it is no secret that the millennial generation feels enthusiastically about the art of tattooing. In fact, millennials have become the driving force behind the body art industry as a whole, according to Pittsburgh’s NPR News Station.

“It’s about being an individual, choosing the art, wearing art,” according the station’s Business Contributor Rebecca Harris.

In recent years millennial participation in tattooing and piercing skyrocketed as the craft became more mainstream, according to the Huffington Post.
