On Saturday, the CSU Rams released their in-conference schedule for the Men’s Basketball program.

The Rams will play nine of the 11 Mountain West Conference teams at Moby Arena this season. Both Boise State and Nevada will not make trips to Fort Collins.

Good news for Rams Basketball fans—unlike last season, many of the away-games will be aired on either local ROOT TV or on the ESPN family.

The Rams will ring in the new year with their first MWC conference game against the San Diego State University Aztecs. Three days later they will travel south to New Mexico to play the UNM Lobos. Both of those teams were NCAA tournament teams alongside CSU last season.

“In Week 2, Colorado State will travel to MW-newcomer San José State. The Spartans are under the direction of new head coach Dave Wojcik and are looking to improve on last year’s early exit from their conference tournament,” a press release said.

Also new to the MWC basketball schedule is Utah State. The Rams will travel to play them in an away-game on the 15 of Jan.

“fans will enjoy a long-awaited matchup vs. Wyoming, in the first installment of the Border War at Moby Arena on Feb. 22,” the release said.

If you are planning on joining the Rams in Las Vegas for the Reeses Mountain West Championship tournament this season, make plans now. The games will start on March 12.
