It was officially 61 degrees on Thursday, and we’re headed toward 63 today! Expect another day of abundant sunshine and unseasonable warmth. Winds will be basically nonexistent. A few clouds are expected near the foothills this afternoon, but they certainly won’t affect temperatures.

A strong high pressure system will continue to sit over Colorado through Friday and Saturday, making for a beautiful start to the weekend. It all changes on Sunday. A cold front should pass through early Sunday morning, and weather models are expecting snow to come along with it. 40s stick around on Monday too. By Tuesday, the storm system should have exited the region, but clouds won’t leave.
We’re continuing to keep a close eye on the Sunday storm. As the forecast storm spins through California today, weather models will start to get a better picture the storm’s track and intensity. At this time, it looks like about 2-4″ are possible in Fort Collins. Should the forecast change, you’ll want to keep informed. Follow me on Twitter for continuous information.
