The National Weather Service reports that snow continues to fall with a high today near 10 degrees and wind chill that could feel as low as -7 degrees. Fort Collins remains in a winter storm warning in effect until 6 p.m. this evening.
CSU sent out a tweet this morning at 5:30 a.m. with the Public Safety Team‘s decision to keep campus open. They also sent another tweet saying to allow yourself extra time and to use caution when traveling to and around campus today.

Around 4:30 a.m. the City of Fort Collins also sent a tweet saying that Fort Collins facilities are open during regular operating hours today.
The National Weather Service warning states that the snow fall will be heavy at times and decrease this afternoon but there could be a total of 4 to 11 inches by late today. Hazardous winter driving conditions can be expected with ice and snow packed roadways. It also states that a winter storm warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring and it could make travel dangerous. The warning recommends only traveling when necessary.
