Safaris, the word itself encapsulates long drives through areas filled with exotic animals, like elephants, lions and zebra. However, according to Kasey Cordell’s article “The Best Safari Operator in the World is Based in Denver?” on 5280, Travel + Leisure named Leora Rothschild, based in Denver, as the Best Safari Operator.

“She did it in style, now, by unseating perennial winner Micato Safaris for the number one spot. “We’ve known for a few weeks, and it was killing us not to be able to say anything,” says Rothschild, whose tours start at $475 (for a three-day Victoria Falls trip) and range upward of $12,000 for multi-week luxury stays,” Cordell wrote.
