CSU alumni perform as Supercollider in University Center for the Arts

storyimages_supercollider-460A band made up of CSU alumni, Supercollider, is hitting the stage at the University Center for the Arts tonight at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for students, $1 for youth under 17 and $12 for the public.

Band member Jon Gray, who graduated from CSU last summer with a Bachelor of Arts in trumpet performance, wrote in an email to the Collegian, “Anyone who likes great music would be really into this show.”

The band plays music with a strong basis in jazz and an emphasis on improvisation.

Tickets are available at the UCA Ticket Office in the UCA Griffin Lobby, by phone at (970) 491-2787 or online. Advance purchase is recommended to avoid at-the-door fees.
