Locally owned Walrus Ice Cream is considered a Fort Collins staple, having been around since 1987, but it shouldn’t be. I had high hopes for a renowned ice cream shop, and they did not live up to that.

There’s probably at least a little bit of trepidation associated with starting classes again after a break, no matter how much a student likes their major. Fortunately, syllabus week is a welcomed relief to what would otherwise be a straight jump right back into the thick of things.

Although I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a “hypochondriac,” I am a self-prescribed WebMD warrior. Each night I fall asleep thinking about a different ailment I might have, and each morning I awake to a Google search history full of medical jargon. The rabbit holes I fall down are astonishingly deep, so if there’s any specific audience this article needs to reach, that audience would be me.

I've always said we need a good-looking, young and witty presidential candidate to bring back the spark in American politics. While I thought this person would be Jack Schlossberg, it turns out it's actually Kamala Harris, which is slightly disappointing but nevertheless exciting.

Alas, gone are the sizzling hot days of neon lime green eccentricity. Yes, it’s true, “brat summer” is officially over. On Sep. 2, Charli XCX, the woman that started it all, put an end to “brat summer” on Twitter, saying “goodbye forever brat summer.”

September is Bisexual Visibility month, and as someone who identifies as bisexual, I’ve been thinking quite a bit about this idea of “visibility” and what it truly means. The queer community is often painted with one broad brush, especially in conversation with primarily straight people. This can give the impression that queerness is a monolithic experience.

Under Donald Trump’s vision of a Colorado town, Aurora approximately 70 miles from Fort Collins, violent crime by the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua rapidly spreads. Bigger than the gang’s arrested members and their past presence in an apartment complex, the town of Aurora has quickly become a national talking point in an aggressively anti-migrant and anti-immigrant agenda.

Most people remember playing with toys when they were kids. There are memories of brightly colored blocks being stacked, toy dolls going on action-packed adventures and coloring books with pictures colored outside the lines. Even the simplest things could be toys like paper folded into airplanes or fortune tellers.

Stephenson: CSU has newfound underdog appeal against Boulder

It seems that it is getting harder to compete with CU Boulder’s image. Last year, Boulder became the subject of mass media attention after hiring Deion Sanders, which shifted the public perception of CU as a whole. Initially, it didn’t seem as though Sanders would change a lot for Colorado State University other than the talent of our football competitors, until the rest of the nation started to take an extreme interest.
