Colorado State football team heading to Las Vegas Bowl

The Colorado State football team is heading to Sin City.

The school announced Sunday afternoon that the Rams (10-2), have accepted an invitation to the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 20. CSU will face former Mountain West rival and No. 22 Utah. The last time the two teams met in 2010, the then-No. 9 Utes trounced CSU 59-6.

This is CSU’s first-ever invitation to the Las Vegas Bowl. The game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. MT on ABC.
