Sweaty Sweater 5K and Polar Plunge

Video by CTV reporter Rachel Vigil

A small hole was chipped away from Horsetooth Reservoir for people participating in the Front Range Freeze to run into.

The Front Range Freeze event included a 5K run/walk that took place at Horsetooth Reservoir. Henry Raymond had the fastest time.

After the race, an award for the ugliest sweater was given based on the crowd’s cheering. At noon, people ran into the reservoir into 37 degree water for the Polar Plunge portion of the event.
