“Little White Lies” explores modern-day relationships by introducing the audience to a group of friends, one of which gets injured in an accident before they are all supposed to leave for an annual beach vacation. This incident elicits various responses from the rest of the group, and the emotional tension rises after they visit their friend in the hospital and then leave for the beach house. Defense mechanisms begin to falter, and the friends’ pretenses, relationships, and sense of guilt are tested when they begin to discover long-hidden truths about each other.

The International Film Series is organized by the Foreign Languages and Literatures Department in order to provide students and the greater community opportunities to watch films that may otherwise not be available or considered. Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish movies are featured throughout the semester.
