Larimer SWAT team arrests fugitive

At approximately 6:35 p.m., Larimer County SWAT team arrested  Wyatt Fluty, a fugitive wanted for attempted manslaughter at the 3700 block of E. Mulberry St.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s office had worked with the Rawlins, Wyo. Police in an effort to locate Fluty, according to a Larimer County Sheriff’s press release.

Fluty was charged with a felony resulting from the Rawlins Police Department investigation and a misdemeanor warrant out of Larimer County for Failure to Appear to serve a jail sentence from a DUI arrest in 2013.

According to the press release, the joint investigation is still ongoing with Rawlins Police Department. Currently no additional information will be released by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office while the investigation is ongoing.
