Fire damages building early Thursday morning

According to a press release from Poudre Fire Authority, a fire broke out around 5 a.m at 1438 Riverside Ave.

The press release stated the fire resulted in the substantial loss of a business in northeast Fort Collins. The business suffered heavy fire, smoke and heat damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
