In honor of the Lory Student Center‘s 50th anniversary, this year’s trick-or-treating in the LSC event will follow a “Decades of Scares” theme.
More than 20 LSC offices will offer candy to trick-or-treaters on Weds., Oct. 31 from 3 to 5 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

“We are excited to have the offices and departments within the LSC celebrate the Halloween theme of decades and to continue our relationship with the surrounding community,” said Anthony Pang, assistant director of the LSC.
Each office was assigned a decade from the 1960s through the 2000s to represent the 50 years the LSC has been on CSU’s campus.
In addition to receiving candy, visitors can cast a vote for the “best decorated” office and the “people’s choice” award winner, which is decided by the number of community votes each office receives. Trick-or-treating maps double as voting ballots.
Since 2005 the LSC trick-or-treating event has offered CSU families an alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
