Sen. Michael Bennet speaks at Colorado State with Kathay Rennels

U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet spoke at Colorado State’s Northeast Regional Engagement Center in Sterling, Colo. on Tuesday. He discussed his efforts to reauthorize the Farm Bill to an audience of nearly 40. He also presented an overview of the effects of partisan politics.

Bennet addressed community concerns about agriculture, economic growth, health care and small business needs.


Kathay Rennels,  assistant vice president for community and economic development at Colorado State, was in attendance to foster the relationship between the Sterling community and Congress. Rennels works with Colorado community to help make resources  and connections more available.
