Construction of a bicycle and pedestrian underpass at Troutman Pkwy will begin on Monday July 16. Equipment delivery began yesterday. Mason Trail will be closed from Horsetooth Road to north of Harmony Road to accomodate a connection with the current trail.

This trail construction is in connection with the MAX Bus Rapid Transit system, a $2.3 million project that will provide residents in the Troutman area more convient transit north and south in Fort Collins. The underpass will provide easy access to the future Troutman Station, for those who live west of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
