Caravanserais were places of rest and refreshment for travelers through the Middle East and North Africa. It’s not really comparable to traversing a desert, but with finals coming up fast you could probably use some rest and refreshment yourself. The Global Village Museum will be opening an exhibit called Caravanserai: Art from Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa Friday, May 3. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Tacos, free beer, live music and prizes” is pretty much the recipe for a happy college student, so I can’t think why you wouldn’t show up to the last meeting of the semester for the CSU Snowboard team. Unless you like being miserable? That’s kind of weird but okay.
The money from ticket sales goes to the FoCo Kiwanis Club, a local branch of an internationally spanning group dedicated to improving life for youth and communities.
