CSU hires Niko Medved as men’s basketball coach

Former assistant coach Niko Medved will be the next head coach of the men’s basketball program after Larry Eustachy’s resignation on Feb. 26, athletic director Joe Parker confirmed Thursday afternoon. Medved will become the 20th coach in the program’s history.

Though Parker answered dozens of questions regarding the climate assessment of the men’s basketball program and Larry Eusatchy’s ultimate resignation, he also tiptoed around some of the more pressing issues. Given FERPA regulations and other legal requirements, some of that is understandable.
