The Lory Student Center on the Colorado State University campus was evacuated for approximately 20 minutes today after fire alarms were triggered.
ASCSU passed Chief of Staff Zachary Vaishampayan's bill to provide funding to the hosting of the former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard. Roughly 10 percent of the funding for the event will be provided by ASCSU. Gillard would speak at a free campus wide event similar to last year's that hosted by Gina McCarthy. Griselda Landa-Posas, a senior undergraduate student at Colorado State University and Native American Cultural Center employee, was riding her bike to work Aug. 23 when a vehicle hit her from behind at approximately 6:30 a.m. and drove off, leaving her with serious injuries to her femur and hip bones.
The Adult Learner and Veteran Services, located in the LSC, helps veterans in whatever way they can and gives them valuable resources to be successful at CSU.
