ALERT: Southern Calif. airports ground departures, divert incoming flights

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a computer problem has led the FAA to ground departures out of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), John Wayne Airport in Orange County and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank. Incoming flights are reportedly being diverted to airports unaffected by the glitch.

Check with your individual airline for more information.

An FAA spokesperson did not have an immediate estimation of when the ground order will be lifted.
