Chris Kopack holds research papers of his and poses for a portrait inside his home office in Fort Collins, where he keeps two large aquariums with freshwater fish species from his graduate work. The fish Kopack has at his home are muskelunge, which are large predatory fish, and Arkansas Darters, a smaller fish thats native to Colorado. Kopack was recently awarded a fellowship from the National Science Foundations Graduate Research Fellowship Program that will help him continue his graduate research.
