Denver scientist on record summer heat: “Well, this is a view of the future”

Judy Woodruff, with PBS’ Newshour, interviewed Kevin Trenberth, a senior scientist with the National Center for Atmospheric Research based in Denver, Colo., to discuss what’s been going on with the record heat that much of the U.S. has seen this summer.  He pretty much laid all of the unusual weather at climate change’s feet:

“Well, I think it’s — you know, you look out the window and you see climate change in action. This is the way it gets manifested.” (Trenberth, PBS Newshour)

Overall, Trenberth’s comments are pretty bleak, but take a look for yourself:
