Yes, there is snow on the way…

Sick of all the rain and clouds? Well, settle in. It’s here to stay for several more days. Thursday will be another humid day, but showers should hold off for a few hours. Expect overcast skies in the morning before thunderstorms develop after 1:00pm. Rain and storms will intensify in the evening, especially after sunset.

We drop into the 30s, 40s, and 50s as we head into the weekend. Expect rain for most of the day on Friday with a few rumbles of thunder in Fort Collins.

Move your Saturday plans indoors. Rainfall is forecast to be pretty heavy all day, especially in the evening. Don’t be surprised by lightning or thunder. And that’s when the snow appears. As temperatures fall towards freezing, we’ll start mixing in some snowflakes. Accumulations? That’s still to be decided. Either way, it’s going to be a cold and windy Sunday.

Monday morning looks to be pretty frigid. The storm quickly clears the area though, leaving cold temperatures behind. At least the sun will finally return!
