This week is all about London (London Fashion Week, that is). I will be focusing today’s post on the beauty that was seen on the runways in London. Some of the trends were the same from NYFW, but other’s were different; more punk, to mimic London’s flair as a city.
Here was the beauty seen on the runways in London:

1 | The first trend seen was blue eye makeup. This trend has been making its way through the fashion world, as celebrities have been using blue/green tones of eyeliner as an accent recently. According to London, this trend will carry on to the fall. Is this wearable? Yes, it is but keep the rest of your makeup pretty neutral, as this is supposed to be the stand out element.

2 | Slicked back hair strands.
To be honest, this never surprised me much anymore. The “wet look” always seems to appear in one way or another. Nevertheless, it is an instant way to make your hair look chic.

3 | Vampy nails
Dark nails are here to stay! Play with dark, almost black hues as your choice of nail color this fall. I’m a big fan of dark nails and think they look very classy, yet edgy at the same time.

4 | Shades of pink
Similar to some shows in New York, there were various shades of pink makeup in London. Ranging from a neon pastel pink to a redish-pink, many designers incorporated the color in their shows. Pink is a great universal color, whether light or dark.

5 | Naked nails
Like New York, there was a surge of nude nails on the runway. As opposed to the vampy nail trend, nude nails are the perfect way to look put together in a classy way. I love to wear a nude color on my nails or my toes when I am tired of wearing the same dark colors.

6 | Just showered hair texture
A lot of designers played with the idea of wearing your natural hair texture as you would upon getting out of the shower. I don’t know about you, but my hair does not have a good texture; it’s rather asymmetrically balanced. Whether wet or dry, the idea of natural hair is going to carry on into the fall.
