It may be after October of 2015, but hoverboards don’t seem to be in our near future. However, we’ve had jetpacks for quite a while now, and this daredevil channeled his inner Jetson and took to the skies.

This jetpack pilot took flight and circled the Statue of Liberty in New York City, taking the meaning of freedom to new heights. Lady Liberty serves as an iconic symbol of the gateway into the U.S. — who knew someone would one day travel that path by jetpack? The company behind the video, Jet Pack Aviation, stated that the pilot was using the “world’s only true jetpack the JB-9,” which utilizes two engines powered by kerosene.”
