A woman with multiple outstanding felony warrants drove a pickup truck into a residential home while fleeing from authorities, injuring one person Tuesday night.

According to an Aug. 28 media release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and investigators from the LCSO contacted the woman, Brooke Oakley, at approximately 10 p.m. She was in the 3800 block of Richmond Drive in Fort Collins.

Oakley then fled from deputies in a pickup truck and, upon reaching the dead-end in Richmond Drive, drove through a residential fence and crashed into a home moments later.

The crash injured one adult woman in a home located in the 1100 block of Wabash Street. According to the release, the injuries were not life-threatening, and both the driver and resident were transported to hospitals for treatment.

No other residents in the home or deputies were injured.

Additional charges against Oakley are pending, and more information will be released when it is available. A booking photo is not yet available.
