A driver was injured in a crash Thursday afternoon when he mounted a median and knocked down a tree, said Fort Collins Police Public Information Officer Kate Kimble.
The driver was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital with injuries. The crash occurred just south of the intersection at Laurel Street and College Avenue around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police and a tree clean-up crew left the area around 6 p.m. with traffic flowing normally.
