Psychedelic rock band The Schwag will take the stage at Hodi’s Half Note on Wednesday, July 20, to perform their show “The Grateful Dead Experience,” which aims to bring audiences the vibes and music of the iconic hippie era band Grateful Dead.
The Schwag was founded in 1991 and has performed over 3,000 concerts in the United States alone. They have opened for several prominent bands, including String Cheese Incident, Marshall Tucker Band, Leftover Salmon, Sammy Hagar, Little Feat and Railroad Earth. The Schwag even hosts their own rock music festival called Schwagstock in their home state of Missouri.
During The Schwag’s show at Hodi’s Half Note, attendees can expect to hear some of their favorite Grateful Dead tunes, as the band will choose from the over 200 Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia songs they have mastered.
If you’re a die hard “Dead Head” or just looking for a good rock show, then The Schwag’s presentation of “The Grateful Dead Experience” is definitely worth checking out.
Only people 18 and older may attend. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at hodishalfnote.com. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m.
