A pretty great movie deserves a pretty spectacular ending, but the ending this gazebo got may not fit that description.
Police say a 71-year-old Connecticut man was charged with driving under the influence after the accident that occurred at 9:42 p.m. Friday on the Townshend town common.
Authorities say David Page’s blood-alcohol content was .181 percent — more than twice the legal limit for intoxication. He had been driving north on Route 30 in the southeastern Vermont town when he drove onto the common. Page, of Groton, Connecticut, was taken to the Southern State Correctional Facility.”
