Chuck Rosenberg, the acting administrator of the DEA, refers to medical marijuana as a joke. According to Fox News, due to his position on the issue, a bipartisan group of lawmakers is questioning his capability to do his job.
“What really bothers me is the notion that marijuana is also medicinal — because it’s not,” Rosenberg said.
In May, a Harris Poll indicated that 81 percent of Americans support the legalization of medical marijuana. Currently, 23 states have already legalized and more are well on their way.
The Gallup Poll, published in late October, found that 58 percent of Americans believe marijuana should be legalized for recreational use too.
