A nude man was found by police Thursday afternoon after receiving a report of criminal trespass in progress at the 6200 block of North County Road 17 in unincorporated Larimer County/Loveland, according to a press release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
When the reporting person called at approximately 5 p.m., they said a vehicle was stuck in the field slightly west of the road, and that there was a nude man next to the vehicle.
The man was later identified as 18-year-old Keenan Barrow Hunt of Fort Collins, according to the press release.
When deputy arrived on the scene and contacted Hunt, he became combative and physically fought the deputy. He attempted to remove the deputy’s firearm from the holster. According to the release, after a few minutes of struggling with Hunt, two citizens came to help the deputy and they were able to gain control of Hunt.
The deputy was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and released.
Hunt was treated at the scene for minor injuries and then booked into the Larimer County Jail on the allegations of second degree assault, second degree criminal trespass, criminal attempt at disarming a peace officer, criminal mischief, DUI and resisting arrest.
Bond has not been set at this time, according to the release.
