According to recent poll results published Thursday, 53 percent of Ohio voters favor the recreational use of marijuana.
The poll was taken by Quinnipiac University, according to an article published on Cleveland.com. It was designed to get a better look at how 2016 will look now that a legalization measure, known as Issue 3, has been proposed in the November election.
“We’re not trying to replicate the ballot question — we’re trying to get a general sense for how people feel about marijuana,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
These results were obtained from a group of 1,180 Ohio voters, who were surveyed over the phone in October. To learn more about the poll taken and its results read the full story.
