Track and Field: Edmunds, Webster set records at Tom Benich Invite
CSU senior high jumper Jazmyn Webster had quite a day at the Tom Benich Invite in Greeley, Colorado. She won the women’s high jump by jumping six feet even, matching the CSU indoor record she set about a month ago in the process.
The jump set a new CSU outdoor record, beating the previous mark by more than an inch. Webster beat the rest of the field by over three inches. The women’s team took home a team victory.
Jonathan Edmunds made history as well with his win in the men’s triple-jump. The senior broke his own CSU outdoor record by posting a mark of 50 feet and 10 inches. He also took home a victory in the long jump. The men’s team finished in second place behind only Wyoming.
