Pleasant conditions, like we’ve experienced the last few days, are expected to continue Friday. In fact, I’m forecasting more sun and even warmer temperatures today! Similar weather is in store for the rest of Colorado, so your afternoon travels should be in the clear.
If you’re planning on leaving this evening, traffic could be heavy, but the weather will be favorable. For a night out in Fort Collins, bring along a warmer layer like a jacket.
Now I know some of you are headed down to DIA. Again, weather in Colorado shouldn’t be a problem for departing flights. The rest of the country could pose a few problems though. Steady, heavy rain is forecast in Seattle and Portland throughout all of Friday.
Houston, Austin and Dallas are all in store for some thunderstorm activity. Luckily, these storms will be weaker Friday night. Saturday could definitely bring some stronger, widespread storms to the region.
Should you have plans to stay in Fort Collins over Thanksgiving break, enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts. A cold front will bring clouds and wind to the area on Sunday. Similar conditions will persist into Monday and Tuesday as well. The mountains should get a good amount of snow during this same timeframe. Snow, however, won’t really make it down to Fort Collins until Thanksgiving Day.
