Colorado State University’s Student Legal Services is hosting Jeff Joseph, an immigration attorney from Denver, Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in room 382 of the Lory Student Center.
Joseph is coming to speak with international students about their legal options for starting a business in the United States.
According to a Source article, “Colorado is a place where entrepreneurs are creating businesses at a higher rate than other states, although many of those small companies struggle to survive their first five years. But that’s not as bad as it sounds, according to a new report from Colorado State University.”
Student Legal Services provides support for all Colorado State students regarding landlord or roommate disputes, criminal or traffic matters, and family law questions. Student Legal Services does not help students with taxes or immigration issues, as these are highly specialized areas of law. It is a service that is already paid by students through their student fees.
