Colorado State University students spent their Saturday at Equinox Brewing as part of their Brewing Science and Technology course. The class often works with local brewers who guest lecture, lead tours of their facilities or invite the class to participate in a brew day.
Students assisted owner Colin Westcott and head brewer Jared Lydon to create an American brown ale at the space at 133 Remington St. It was the third brew of the class. Once fermented, the beer will be on tap at Equinox and may make its way to the Ramskeller on campus.
