Boeing strategic adviser and advanced materials scientist Dr. Leo Christodoulou will speak Thursday for the Colorado State University Innovation Leadership Series regarding technology issues and solutions.
The Hilton Fort Collins will open its doors for a reception at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, while the presentation begins at 5 p.m. Anyone can attend for free, but registration is required.
Launched earlier this year by CSU’s Office of the Vice President for Research, the Innovation Leadership Series was created as a way to present prominent innovations and their innovators to the University and Northern Colorado.
“We are excited to bring thought leaders to CSU to share their experiences and hear about important global problems that align with our research enterprise,” said Alan Rudolph, Vice President of Research in a press release.
Rudolph said the University’s 24 percent increase in industry research sponsorship throughout 2014 indicates that the “diversification of interesting” in CSU’s solutions is growing.
“This Leadership in Innovation series will continue to promote expanding connections of our discoveries to global impact,” Rudolph said.
