Fort Collins police are gathering information on a series of reports involving a suspicious male engaging in window-peeping behavior and burglaries, according to a police press release.
There have been approximately eight reports of window-peeping behaviors and approximately four burglaries, which appear to be connected to a similar suspect. The window-peeping incidents have involved female victims, and have been occurring since April.
These incidents have occurred in the western portion of Fort Collins and have been in these approximate areas: from Mason Street on the east to Taft Hill Road on the west, and from Prospect Road on the south to Mulberry Road on the north.
Fort Collins police investigators believe there is a high likelihood that there are additional incidents that have occurred that have not yet been reported.
Community members are advised to keep exterior doors locked and use appropriate window coverings while dressing in their homes. Further information regarding crime-prevention tips can be found here.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Detective Andy Kinkhead at 970-221-6557 or Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868.
