The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced its 2013-14 Honors Court, naming former Colorado State University guard Josh Morgan Monday. The list includes 895 student athletes spanning 335 colleges and universities.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior and senior men’s basketball players at all levels of college basketball, who spent at least one year at an institution and boast a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Morgan, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound native of Buena Vista, played two seasons on the men’s basketball team after joining as a walk-on transfer from NCAA Division II Hawai’i-Hilo. He graduated in May with a degree in health and exercise science.
He is the second player in as many seasons from CSU to earn a spot on the NABC Honors Court list, joining former Ram Dorian Green who was named to the list as a senior in 2012-13.
