It’s a rodeo, it’s a carnival, it’s funnel cakes saturated with powdered sugar and it’s good-ole’ country music. It’s Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Cheyenne Frontier Days will begin this Friday afternoon at the Frontier Days stadium where professional riders and rodeo folk will compete for over $1 million in cash and prizes, according to the Cheyenne Frontier Days website.
The two-week rodeo has a variety of attractions. The rodeo takes place during the day, along with many rides and games children can partake in. There are also museums, an old frontier town for guests to tour, an Indian village and more.
Headlining artists include Lady Antebellum, Gary Allen, Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw, among other well-known country artists.
Tickets and schedules are available at the Frontier Days website.
