ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West announced Thursday that the network will televise two live Colorado State football games in 2014. All matchups will be produced in high definition and, in the Rocky Mountain and Northwest territories, will be available exclusively on ROOT SPORTS.
As a part of the agreement, CSU’s Oct. 25 annual “Border War” against rival Wyoming at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium is set for 5 p.m. MT. The Rams’ home contest vs. New Mexico will kick off at either 11:30 a.m. or noon MT, pending the release of the NBA schedule.
Fans outside of the Rocky Mountain and Northwest footprints can watch the games on the Mountain West Network.
The addition of two more television games to the Rams’ schedule brings the total number of broadcasts for the 2014 campaign to nine.
The three remaining games – vs. UC Davis (Sept. 13), at Boston College (Sept. 27) and vs. Tulsa (Oct. 4) – have yet to be assigned national, regional or local television rights.
