After the Boston Marathon Bombing last April, thousands of people worked to find a way to show support to the victims. However, the addition of memorial tattoos to the Boston Marathon memorial shows how permanently the event affected some supporters, according to the Salem News.
According to the article:
The tattoos are as varied as the people: the Boston skyline with sailboats on the Charles River, the twin towers and running shoes, the words “Boston Strong,” a tattered American flag, hands reaching down over the Zakim Bridge, and a nurse’s cap with the date 4-15-13.
