Google recently partnered with Motorola to create an electromagnetic throat tattoo that would enable to user to clearly call friends and family even with an immense amount of background noise, according to Huffington Post reporter Betsy Isaacson.
“The idea of an “electromagnetic tattoo” freaks some people out. The Atlantic’s Alexis Madrigal calls it Google’s creepiest patent yet,” according to the article.
Many consumers worry that the device could be used as a lie detector since the patent filing author’s jokingly brought up the possibility of it reading galvanic skin reactions.
