A library-like wall of tea lines the inside of Happy Lucky's Tea House. Recently the tea house has launched a new website where customers can virtually browse the colorful shelves and order teas online from anywhere in the world.
Regular Happy Lucky's Tea House visitor, Holly Johnson works on a presentation in a cozy corner of the shop. Johnson occasionally teaches tea and chocolate pairings as well as essential oil aromatherapy classes, hosted graciously by the tea house. Her next essential oil class will be this coming Monday, from 6:30 to 8:00pm.
Happy Lucky's Tea House has a cozy, coffee-house vibe. It attracts numerous CSU students and community members who are searching for a cool atmosphere to study, relax, and taste some tea.
Happy Lucky's Tea staff take pride in their tea and enjoy teaching others the proper way to prepare their tea. Tea ordered to drink is accompained by a sand timer showing how long to seep. Similarily, any dry tea bought will include instructions for how long to seep and how hot to make the water.
Andi Didericksen dishes out purple and green tusi herbal tea for a waiting customer. This particular tea is localy grown in Niwot, Colorado.
Happy Lucky's Tea House is a unique stop for those passing through Fort Collins. Here, R.C. Phelps has taken a pit stop onhis way to Denver to read a new book he bought from the bookstore next to the tea house.
Wholsesale accounts manager and master tea blender, Andy Boone, brews some tea for eager customers. Boone teaches occasional herbal blending courses at the tea house where students can mix and match tea leaves untill the have made a personalized ready to be taken home.
Joe Anderson prepares a steamy chi tea for a customer. Anderson teaches a course at the tea house once every fall and spring on the way of Japanese green tea brewing and drinking. Happy Lucky's Tea House has a variety of options for how to enjoy their tea ranging from brewed tea in a glass kettle to hot tea blended with milk and agave nectar to cold sweet tea poured over ice.
